  Tina

This sweet Yorkie mix is 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds.  She loves everyone she meets & loves to cuddle!  In fact she loves to sleep on the bed too at night!  Trained to pee pads, she could also be taught to go outside instead if someone is at home to train her for a few days, as she will also go outside.

She is clean in the house.  Used to being crated, she can sleep the entire night if you cover her crate with a blanket.  Loving kids, cats, and to play, she would also be good with other friendly little dogs.  People can take her toys away but not other little dogs!!  Loves to run in the yard and follow you around.

Everyone who meets her loves her!  Tina is spayed, shots to date, heartworm tested negative and on heartworm preventative.  Tiny Tina wants to be your forever companion!

  Muffin Man

This dear 5 pound Bichon Maltese and possibly apricot poodle mix was found in a cage beside a dumpster, terrified out of his mind.  He was taken in upon discovery by kind staffers and we went to get him.  He would not leave the shelter of his cage.

After decompressing a bit in his foster home he finally came out of his cage and by being ignored for a few hours, finally lost his defensive pose and started to behave normally, a dear sweet boy.

We gave him 3 baths which he enjoyed to get the dried urine off him.  After eating, he was taken to the vet, who estimated his age at no more than 9 months.  He is now being neutered and shots brought up to date, he is healthy and has a good temperament.

  Haylie

I am a white and black 9 pound  ShihTsu girl with a darling personality!  Everyone who meets me, loves me.  Why then, did someone leave me tied in a park for 2 days in the rain with a little bag of dry dogfood beside me?  I didn’t deserve THAT!

I was discovered finally by people who were shocked that  people saw me but no one helped.  They asked Gerdy to help me, which they did.  So now I am spayed, shots up to date, heartworm tested negative and on heartworm preventative, no fleas or parasites.  I am ready to go!

I love other friendly dogs, probably would accept cats.  I love to be carried around and cuddled, I am VERY affectionate!  Love little walkies too!  ONLY 1 ½ YEARS OLD!

Adopted

  Julia

This little 1 year old Miniature Pinsher  of black and brown is a darling girl, very sweet and friendly, who was found abandoned during a severe thunderstorm. She is such a sweetheart, good natured, cheerful, wonderful temperament all in her 5 ½ pounds!  Extremely lovely dog in every way!

She is now spayed, shots to date, heartworm tested negative and on prevention, flea & parasite free.  Loves to be carried and held, cuddles into your arms! Loves to walk on leash too!  Julia is ready for a forever home this time!

Adopted

  Maggie ("The Streak")

This adorable 12 pound beauty is all charm—not a snap in her for anyone!  Quiet, well behaved, excellent with other friendly dogs and cats, playful, and perfectly crate trained.  She has the beauty of a little fox, with a wise little face.  She LOVES to run, that is why she is nicknamed “the Streak”!

She is a walker with stamina too, can keep up with the bigger dogs.  But is so well-behaved in the home, a very loving  one year old girl.  Needs a FENCED IN YARD because if she ever got loose she’s be gone in a flash!

This is an exceptional doggie pal and a real delight.  Maggie is a cross between a Pomeranian and a Papillon—a fluffy tail over her back carried proudly.  Spayed, all shots up to date, started on Revolution for heartworm prevention (tested negative), Bordatella vaccinated, no fleas or worms.

Sadly given up because of illness, Maggie will bring joy into any home!

  Kodiak ("Kodi")

Hi!  I am a bouncing boy of a Golden Retriever mum and a Golden Retriever/Blond Lab mix dad—I am so handsome!  I look just like a Golden retriever with the nature to match AND I have fabulous white highlights as well!  I had a very unfortunate grooming tho—someone gave me a bad hair day—but it will grow out!  But my coat will  look even more handsome when it does.

I am 18 months old and was given up because my family didn’t have the proper time for me anymore.  I need obedience training as I act like a fool when I am happy and playful—rambunctious—but I can settle down too.

I just need to learn manners in the worst way!  I am full of love and affection.  Gerdy suggests older kids as I jump on people right now, I don’t know any better!  But I am very smart and eager to please as well, so if you have training patience with me you are going to have a very loyal dog!  I have the friendliest smile too.

Neutered, shots up to date, heartworm tested negative, Bordatella vaccine, Revolution for fleas & worms just in case.  I am set to GO!  Ready is my second name!!

Adopted

  Tia

Hi my name is Tia.  I am a gorgeous purebred Doberman with a docked tail and perfectly natural ears.  I am the gentlest girl you will ever meet.  I am a 65 lbs, 9 month old puppy and I have so much affection to offer – I am not a watchdog!

Being very affectionate and playful I will need some basic training on leash.  I do know Sit, Lie down and I am still working on the stay part.  Since I have not been taught off leash, I will take a long stroll away, so I need to learn that I must stay near my humans.

I passed my behavioral test with flying colors.  I have no toy or food aggression and I am willing to share them with children.  Did I mention that I absolutely LOVE kids!  When I need to go outside I will get your attention and will go to the door.

I am good with dogs with the proper introduction since I have not been exposed to many of my peers.  I am not familiar with cats and I will chase them – you do not want that!  I was never crated and never alone, so I cry when no one is home.

I need a fully fenced house, not a condo or apartment and someone around during the day rather than just leaving me for hours on end.  Do you work at home?  I can be packed in a minute!

I am perfect in every way.  I am here with Gerdy because originally someone did not have any time for me.  I was then given to another family that loved me very much however the landlord had a height restriction on four legged residents – I was apparently too tall.  My owner tried desperately to fight the decision but was given a final notice. Well, I sure wasn’t going to volunteer and get my legs docked to fit that requirement, so here I am at Gerdy’s, where a tall distinguished gal can get a good forever home!

I am spayed, all shots up to date, heartworm tested negative and on Revolution heartworm preventative, no fleas or worms.

  Buddy

This 2 year old purebred Golden Retriever is a handsome deep rust shade, a magnificent dog.  He is 66 pounds, and has a wonderful nature, ideal family dog—playful yet can settle down nicely.

Housetrained, he loves his walks but needs a bit more work on leash etiquette.  Very well-cared for healthy dog, happy and carefree, typical Golden!  Was given up because children were not committed to help care for him and the owners felt he needed more attention.  Gorgeous coat!

Neutered, shots to date including bordatella, heartworm test negative and on heartworm seasonal preventative, he is just asking to be YOUR Buddy!

Adopted

  Honeybun

This sweet and playful ShihTsu/Terrier cross is the most delightful girl! She LOVES to be cuddled and held like a baby too! Not snappy, she is active & loves to play, yet can settle down for a nap with you as well.

This  1 to 1 1/2 year old little girl weighs 12 pounds.  She was dumped on the street at moving time and found her way to Gerdy’s with help. She is having a ball playing with another wee foster dog, and is getting used to cats as well! Loves being bathed and brushed.  Enjoys her leash walks too! Not a mean bone in her body, what a wonderful companion!

Spayed, shots to date, bordatella included. Heartworm test negative and on seasonal heartworm preventative, defleaed & dewormed just in case.

Adopted

  Shadow

Shadow is 3 years old, and is a mix of Golden Retriever/Golden Lab/Chow (a bit!), a real eye-catching combination!  Shadow is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and on Interceptor heartworm preventative.

He loves to go for walks and is trained to gentle Leader, a kind and patient boy!   He is afraid of thunder, otherwise he is perfectly calm.  His previous owner did not have the proper time for him and wanted him to be happy with a family.

He is perfectly housetrained, gets along with friendly dogs, untried with cats.  About 100 pounds, he will lose weight with proper exercise.  Kind eyes, this boy is a real family dog, no separation anxiety.  Loves the car, travels well.  A great companion dog!

Adopted

  Terry

I am the DEAREST girl!  And they say I am about 2 years old and around 60  pounds.  I am a trustworthy  Black Lab Mix with a tiny bit of white on my chest, I have an elegant long nose too. Being  a real lady, I was SO GOOD at the vet even tho I was so scared because I have been through a lot.

Found on the street on moving day, I was apparently left outside when my people moved away, maybe they were not allowed a dog in the new apartment—but here I am looking for a FOREVER home with you.

Gerdy thinks I will be a wonderful family dog and that I might get along with cats too as I am such a sweetie.  A nice CALM dog, I really show my feelings by the expression of my intelligent and understanding brown soft eyes!

I travel extremely well in the car!   Spayed, shots up to date including Bordatella, I am heartworm tested (negative), and have started my Revolution heartworm preventative.  Easy to walk, I will not drag you off somewhere!  This Terry is for YOU!

  Tequila

This very sweet natured Golden Retriever is 9 months old.  She was given up so her family could go on vacation this summer. Tequila loves other dogs and will surely like cats too once she meets one.  Great with kids, a very trustworthy gentle dog. Someone trimmed her lovely coat, but it will grow in again.  She is a perfect family dog.

She is spayed, shots to date including Rabies and Bordatella,, started on Revolution for heartworm prevention (tested negative), flea and worm free.  She is a beautiful girl, both inside and out!

  Charley

This sweet compact, 8 month old female AMERICAN Cocker Spaniel was dumped at a shelter when she outgrew her wee puppy looks.  She is a lovely dog, purebred, friendly and very playful.  Her shiny curly coat is very healthy and beautiful.

Spayed, shots up to date, heartworm tested negative, defleaed & dewormed, just in case—this happy pup is ready for her forever home!  Gets along with other friendly dogs too!

Adopted

  Cocoa

Hi!  I am a Chocolate Lab boy of about 1 to 1 and 1/2 years old, very sweet and friendly.  I was dumped out of a car on the road like so many unwanted dogs when people move.  I don’t know why they didn’t take me, I did nothing to deserve that.  I tried to be a good boy. I thought my family would love me forever.  Maybe I grew too big!  Maybe they got tired of me!

Everyone at Gerdy’s loves me, and the lady who saved me and kept me from getting hit by a car, also says I am deserving of a good forever home where a scare like that will never happen to me again.  Everyone has been so good to me through my ordeal.

I will be neutered soon, and have all my shots and Bordatella up to date, with heartworm test and Revolution started as heartworm preventative.  I am such a trusting, sweet boy—I promise you will be glad you called Gerdy so you can meet me and make me yours forever.

Adopted

  Shadow

This sweet 5  year old black and white  BORDER COLLIE ideally needs an older couple or a single person who is home all day, perhaps working from home or in retirement.

Shadow needs someone who truly enjoys working with dogs with the objective of having a lifelong devoted companion. Shadow was very loved in his past home, but due to life’s circumstances they were unable to keep him, and they miss him terribly. He  was their pride and joy but  they did not socialize him enough as a pup. We have been working on  that and Shadow is now at the point where adoption would be the best thing that could happen to him right now. No young kids just yet.

Shadow gets used to new people quickly now and just needs a bit of adjustment time. He walks well on leash, has been around other friendly dogs. He is not hyperactive—just being a dear pal suits him fine!  He enjoys his walks on leash, and has the most fantastic eyes—one brown and the other blue-green. Untried with cats.

Neutered, shots updated, heartworm tested negative, Bordatella vaccinated, dewormed & defleaed—just in case. Shadow is a good boy who just needs a human partner to bring out his best!

Adopted

  Zorro

This boy is about 1 1/2 years old, neutered all shots to date, heartworm tested, parasite free, Bordatella vaccine--all done.  Zorro is ready to go!

Zorro is very affectionate.  He knows the meaning of SIT, COME, and GO TO BED.  He will wait for his food until he gets permission to eat!  If you call him while he is eating, he will leave his bowl to go beside you.  LOVES to play fetch!  Could use leash training tho, but that is something you can learn together!  A good boy, he needs a home where he can get all the attention he deserves, preferably with gentle older children or adults.

Like all Beagles, needs a Beagle-proof yard and must not be allowed off leash as Beagles just follow their nose and get lost.  There is no better little dog than a Beagle.

Adopted

  Odo

Compassionate Placement

Odo is a 12 year old Royal Standard Poodle of 52 pounds  that needs a retirement home where he can be loved and spent time with,  as his owner has passed away and Odo was no longer wanted around.  Gerdy took him into her care as he is a dear and gentle boy who is not ready to be euthanized for age.

He still enjoys his walks, and loves car rides, actually he behaves like a dog much younger—but he is very gentle and content just to be with his person, lying near.  He has the spark of playfulness in him even though Odo is almost deaf, he does not feel sorry for himself but looks to new adventures.

This is one lovable boy!!  Very good with other friendly, gentle dogs and cats, Odo would do best in a home with adults, as kids might be too rough with him.  He is a real gentleman dog!  Easy to be around, and super affectionate, loves to be fussed over.

He would be a delight to a retired person or couple who had the time for him.  We need someone who spends time at home rather than leaving him alone all day, being deaf, he likes to see someone around him to give him confidence.  He is a rare taupe colour and has a wonderful conformation, very distinguished and cheerful boy!

Neutered, he is up to date on his shots, heartworm tested negative, Revolution started, flea & parasite free.  Good strong heart!  Can you be Odo’s adored person and make his life meaningful again?

He might not hear much of what you say, but he sure can feel a loving touch, and gives affection back tenfold!

  Marcus

Hi big world!  My name is Marcus.  I am a gorgeous 5 month old boy Australian Shepard. Normally my fur is long, but my other family shaved me I guess for the summer season.  I am with Gerdy’s Rescue due to an impulse ‘purchase’ from a pet shop.  My family was unaware of all my requirements as far as puppy rearing goes. Luckily, a Good Samaritan could no longer ignore my desperate situation and convinced the family that I deserved much more out of life rather then being caged in a garage.

Now I am in the loving care of one of Gerdy’s foster families.  I am no couch potato.  I need lots of exercise and I will keep you active and on your toes.  I am learning so much and I am so eager to please. Due to my age and getting familiar with life in general, it is incredible how many different things there are to discover.

My foster mom says I am incredibly smart.  I have learnt my basic commands, walking on leash is going well and I am starting to ask for the door when I need to go outside!  I enjoy playing with other dogs and I interact very well with little and big dogs alike.  I also live with four felines and I am learning that they are not like dogs at all and now we all are starting to live in harmony.

My big wish is to find a forever family that has puppy and dog experience only.  If you are willing to teach me about this wonderful world and make sure that I am exercised on a daily basis, then please consider me.  By the way, I just lost 2 baby teeth the other day.

Gerdy told me that dreams do come true and some day soon the tooth fairy will send me a new loving family.  I can’t wait to discover more about this wonder world!

Love Marcus

  Sam

Oh, that Sam-I-am!!  That’s me. All 90 pounds of me, filled with love and goodwill!  I am a mélange of Blond Lab/German Shepherd/Husky who was found by a stranger along a highway.

I connected with Gerdy luckily for me after he saved me from the traffic.  I have a wonderful personality and get along with other dogs, untested with cats, but I might be ok with them.  I LOVE to be brushed!  And I am SO GOOD in the car!  I am a tad overweight and since I am about 2 years old, I likely was not exercised.

I am neutered, heartworm tested negative, shots, Bordatella, flea and worm free and started on my heartworm preventative for the season.  Who will give a home to Sam I am?

Adopted

  Surprise

This dear Miniature Schnauzer  of salt and pepper colouring, is about 3 ½ years old and weighs 16 pounds.  There is not a mean bone in her body, she does well with gentle handling as she is still a bit nervous but that will come around shortly as she gets used to being around more new people.

Spayed, heartworm tested negative, shots up to date, defleaed & dewormed just in case. This sweet girl is very deserving of a calm dog-loving home!

Adopted

  Pascha

A kind woman rescued me from a traffic jam that I caused myself, trying to cross a busy thoroughfare against the lights.  I might not have made it through another day had she not picked me up on Easter Sunday.  That's why they named me Pascha.

I am a SIMPLY WONDERFUL young family dog - my vet estimates me at about 8 months, a sweet little medium-sized Lab-mix boy of about 50 pounds. I am very well-behaved in my foster home.  No messes, no chewing - even though they have to leave me alone for the better part of the day.  I was a dog on a chain by my manner, and I am SO grateful for changing to life indoors with her family.  I like my time outside though, and I love to exercise!

Hey—I LIKE CATS!!  I love people, horses and kids, although I’d be better off with older children as I still get scared sometimes.  I’d love to go to a home where somebody’s there all day, although it’s not a must if I get my proper exercise.

Neutered, shots, heartworm tested negative, defleaed & dewormed, just in case.   I just want someone to love all my life.  I had an injured tail and a bad ear infection, but everything’s OK now!  I make everyone who sees me smile - you can’t be in a bad mood with ME around!"

Adopted

  Theodore

This is the dearest Pomeranian!  This little boy is 6 months old and is very affectionate, not the least snappy.  Still a tiny bit shy as he has not much experience walking outside, but gets along well with gentle people, nice dogs, and he loves cats!  He is a real cuddler and prefers to share the bed with you at night.  LOVES to sit by the computer as you work, goes to sleep by you contented just to be near you—this is a wee dog you could take to the office.  Not a barker, but he fret barks when he is left in the home alone (goes on for a few minutes then he settles down).  Loves to walk on leash!

Good in the car but is scared of windshield wipers—they are out to get him!  Housetrained if you remember to take him out, he is still a baby and has not learned to ask out.  Since he was at first scared of the outdoors we think he was trained on paper in the house before, but he is doing very well going outside.  This is a small dog, it is NOT a good idea to let one of this size out in the yard alone, ever.

Neutered, shots up to date including Bordatella, Revolution treated, vet examined.  One of the BEST Poms ever!

  Lady

Lady & Boston are very nice natured Golden Retriever purebreds who were raised together but CAN be adopted separately:

LADY

Is the blond petite one at 53 pounds who is seldom seen without a ball in her mouth ready for an opportune game of Fetch!  She is delightfully friendly, playful, but settles down well too.  Full of trust and fun, she is truly the ideal of Golden girl charm and effervescence!   She lives up to her name, is very lady-like!  She is on the petite side and is 3 years old.

  Steinni (aka Little Boy)

They say I am the MOST handsome cat!  I am a Domestic Shorthair tabby about 1 1/2 to 2 years old.  Gerdy got a call that a cat was found limping around on the street and  was holding up a paw.

She had me seen by a vet, and  he fixed up my abcessed paw and had me neutered, tested for FIV/Leukemia (negative), shots up to date, and Revolution for fleas & worms just in case.  I am the FRIENDLIEST of cats!

I have a GREAT PERSONALITY too, and love to be held and loved.  I have a wonderfully patterned coat and nice fur,  gorgeous bedroom eyes too!!  I don’t want to be ever put outside again, I am strictly a homebody!

If you need a Little Boy to care for, I’m your cat!

  Cody

Hi Folks!  I am a PUPPY, a 4 month old LAB/BERNESE. I was given up because I wanted to play with the family cats but they just got me SO excited, that my people felt the cats were going to have a nervous breakdown if they kept me!

I am VERY SMART and can figure out lots of stuff—they say I will be easy to obedience train—hey could we have lessons together as we become pals?  I have a VERY kind heart, not a mean bone in my body—but I just LOVE to play and have fun!  I would love a big brother or sister dog to play with and look up to—or just be by myself with my new family.

Since I am a young pup, no tiny kids to pull my ears and tail, please!  I need a bit of help with my housetraining, but I am a quick learner and anxious to please you.  I would like someone who is home a lot as I will have to go out more frequently than a grownup dog!  Maybe I could curl up near you as you work on your computer?  Then I would take you for a nice walk to get you relaxed!

I am to be neutered, have my shots up to date, vet checked, flea and parasite free.  Look into my trusting eyes and say you will love me all my life!

Adopted

  Colby

Colby’s family had no more time for him but Gerdy’s Rescue does.  Colby is a cross lab/golden who is 6 years young.  He is a gentle soul with an excellent disposition.  He has wonderful house manners and can be left alone for a full work day.

Colby is excellent with children, cats and dogs. He does not mind sharing his food, toys or favorite bone with his foster feline family.  Colby is in excellent physical shape however he cannot eat chicken due to possible allergies.  Colby is learning how to walk respectfully on leash and is learning to come when called while off leash.

He is bright and eager to be loved and petted which is something that he lacked. His coat is now shiny and healthy and Colby loves his special grooming time with his foster mom.

Colby is a treasure.  He is a pretty laid back boy and all that is required is love and a spot in a family’s life – forever. Colby’s waits patiently for that special someone to enter his life. Neutered, all shots to date, heartworm tested negative, flea & parasite free.

I am a dear, sweet girl of 8 years with a lot more of them left in my life! I am a Bichon Maltese purebred, VERY obedient and well behaved.  I AM PAPER TRAINED, and an indoor dog--of course.  I am NOT guard dog material!

I am good with kids tho I was not raised with them, also I am good with other nice dogs and cats.  Truly a lap dog, I am a wonderful companion as you will find out for yourself!  I am spayed, shots to date, heartworm tested, no fleas or parasites, loving people, I was sorry to lose my last home where I was given up due to illness of my person. I need someone to love!

  Olivia

What a sweet brave little girl! Imagine yourself abandoned, cold, wet and hungry during this year’s hazardous winter. Luckily for 1 year old Olivia her anguished cries were heard by a Good Samaritan who could no longer ignore her desperation. She is currently being fostered for Gerdy’s in safety, but needs her own forever home soon as possible.

She is now used to other cats and dogs and gets along well with them. VERY affectionate, she loves to be cuddled and sleeping on or with people. Well-mannered, good natured, not overly active, she is vocal in her affection and gives contented little “head butts”. This is a cat for people wanting a REAL CUDDLER!

This grey and white semi-longhair has a gorgeous coat with little shedding, her foster mum brushes her daily—which she loves—and her foster also says she is one of the nicest cats she has ever cared for in foster. Now Olivis’s stars need to align to find her a forever family to protect and cherish her—and she in return.

Can you be Olivia’s Champion and tell Gerdy the stars have just aligned for dear Olivia? She is spayed, FIV and FelV tested, dewormed & defleaed just in case!

I am such a DEAR little girl of 4 months.  I am part German Shepherd and part Collie, with a cute tuft of long hair on top of my head.  I was abandoned at a shelter by someone who didn’t want me and Gerdy saw me there all frightened and scared—boy—was I glad to see a friendly face!

They took me then and there right to a vet to get me all ready for adoption so I will have all my shots, I will be spayed by Gerdy’s Rescues when I am old enough.  Gerdy will tell you I am playful and eager to please, without a mean bone in my little (for now!) body.  I am just the right age to start my puppy training if you want to take me to a class.

They don’t know if I am housetrained, but I am a smart girl and want to please, so will be a quick learner!  I am a happy pup, who likes to cuddle too!

Adopted

  Ollie (aka Junior)

This pup came Gerdy’s way during our Plant sale!  Gerdy rushed down to get him and brought him back to the sale with her.  One of our friends who was helping sell items, took one look at him and adopted him on the spot—our fastest adoption ever!  Juniour (now called Ollie) is 4 months old and a mix of Black Lab/Newfoundland.

A very nice temperament, he is a great family dog and this abandoned Mr. Personality Plus now has the best home ever with 2 Shih Tsu brothers, and the three of them love to play.  He thinks he is a Shih Tsu too as he tries to make his big body tiny during play with his new brothers!

This handsome Great Pyranees is 3 years old and over 110 pounds of long white dramatic fur.  His huge head is very regal, he is very quick to learn,  and very tolerant of other dogs and cats.

Loves people and is a natural gentle protector of his family.  Beauregard came to us after his family no longer wanted him around and dumped him.  This wonderful dog has so much to offer a new family, he is a very devoted boy who deserves the respect of his people and to have an honoured place in his home.  Beau is neutered, heartworm tested negative, shots up to date including Bordatella, dewormed & defleaed just in case.

  Frippon

This delightfully energetic little boy 7 years young is a handsome and well behaved Bichon Maltese, who was abandoned by his family, and thus faced euthanasia.  He LOVES his walkies!!

He trots right along, you’d think he was a year or 2 instead of 7, he is in fine shape. HYPOALLERGENIC, this breed can live a very long life.

This little Diva wannabe has the typical small dog attitude to big dogs, he does not know his size.  Best in a home without small children, but with dogs and cats in his foster home, preferring  non-threatening dogs who will let him be leader of the pack, even if they are larger than him!  NOTE:  This wee dog had been forced to wear a shock collar to “cure” his small dog bark.  He is still learning to allow his  little neck to be touched, but is getting more tolerant with time.

Panda is about 1 and 1/2 years old, male, domestic shorthair.  He had obviously once been a pet, he is so gentle.  Someone noticed him struggling outside to survive with an injured paw in the snow.

His paw is better and Panda has been neutered, Feline AIDS/Leukemia tested negative, shots, dewormed & defleaed just in case.  Panda is as cuddly as his name!

I am a kind and thoughtful kitten, quite studious as I contemplate whether or not to make a fool of myself playing with a toy or to try to be the scholar I would like to be.  I just LOVE people who read books!  Have you read Cat in the Hat?

Now that was a great novel!!  I am still a baby of 8 months old , a brother to Nancy and Gerald.  I happen to be a very exotic pattern of grey and black against white, a domestic shorthair of course!  Neutered, I have my shots up to date, dewormed and defleaed, and ready to read to you with my gentle purrs.

Compassionate Placement

But they call be SOC for short, I guess that’s the indignity a dog philosopher gets!  I am very wise at 9 years old, a cross of Blond Lab and Dalmation.  I have the body and calm gentleness of a Golden Lab and the coloring of the Dalmation side of the family—the best of both worlds!

My family can’t keep me anymore so I am looking to Gerdy and you for a forever home. You would NEVER guess my age as I am nicely playful and in good health—maybe next year I will take up doggy dancing.

My foster family finds I get along great with their 2 little dogs and I love to play with them, I am so gentle.  Hey—I love cats too—and simply ADORE children and of course older people as well—I am a GREAT family dog, totally trustworthy!

Well—I have Lab in me, those muffins on the table might be irresistible and since they are left over….but other than a hearty appetite, I am a fine all-around dog!  I am neutered, shots, heartworm tested, Bordatella vaccinated, defleaed & dewormed just in case—with suitcase packed and ready to be your boy!

  Lola

“Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets”—so goes the song.  All OUR Lola wants is a loving new home!  She was given up because a child developed allergies.  Lola is an EXCEPTIONAL FAMILY DOG!

Kind, loving, totally trustworthy with kids. Likes other dogs, so likely will get along with cats too.  GREAT TRAVELLER in the car! She LOVES to travel and is very calm and obedient during car trips.  She never begs for food yet is a happy eater. Housetrained, knows several commands.

Playful but not rowdy or overexcited, she is as capable of snuggling with you on the couch as she is prepared to run on leash with you for exercise. Black in color with white toes.

Nicely submissive and totally trusting, Lola is super great, healthy, happy, no-hassle girl and lucky is the family to get her!  Lola is up to date on her shots, heartworm tested negative, Bordatella vaccinated and spayed.

Lola just asks for affection, love, and security.  Not a large dog, more a  medium size weight likely in the 45 pound range,  a mix of Golden Retriever and Black Lab, this 4 and a half year old was born to please!
